Liam and Noel Gallagher's mum, Peggy, has let go of her beloved west of Ireland holiday home after concerns from her famous sons, Liam and Noel, reports Dublin Live.
At 81, the Oasis brothers - who are returning to the stage in 2025 - were allegedly uneasy about Peggy staying in Charlestown, Co Mayo by herself, particularly post-Covid pandemic. The devoted Irish mum, who once travelled monthly to her cherished Mayo residence, found herself visiting less frequently. The property, a mere 3 miles from town, was recently sold for over €300,000.
A local from the area told Dublin Live: "In recent years we'd hardly see Peggy here. I suppose she is getting older and decided to sell up because she was not getting the use out of the house that she used to be." They added, "The Covid pandemic changed things for a lot of people including Peggy..
Adding that many of her old friends have passed away, the source shared that most of Peggy's family live in England which likely had an influence on her decision. "I have no doubt Liam and Noel were worried about her being over in Ireland on her own and that probably made up her mind to sell," said the local.
