Hearts and Sunderland striker Stephen Elliott has branded Lewis Morgan a “disgrace” during his time at the Stadium of Light.
Ex- Celtic star Morgan was loaned to the Wearside club for five months in 2018/19 under current Hibs boss Jack Ross, who saw his team agonisingly miss out on promotion to the Championship after a dramatic stoppage time defeat to Charlton in the play-off final.
Morgan told the Open Goal podcast Sunderland was “a shambles” during his time, revealing players tended to stick to their own cliques and only saw each other at the training ground.
And while former Republic of Ireland international Elliott, who spent three years with the Black Cats, agreed with Morgan on that front, he dug out the ex- St Mirren kid for not.
