One of Scotland’s hottest rising star hopes his bubble hasn’t burst after the gigs lockdown killed his big breakthrough show.
Luke La Volpe, a best pal of Lewis Capaldi, was riding the crest of a wave when their gig at the iconic King Tut’s venue in Glasgow sold out in a few hours.
But just as the big time began to loom large, he got hit by a severe lockdown comedown. It came at a bad time for Luke and the band as the industry buzz was intense and led to them making most music pundits’ breakthrough list for 2020.
