Lewis Capaldi responds to Liz Truss lookalike claims as singer admits he can see similarities

Lewis Capaldi has taken to social media after a fan noticed a striking resemblance between him and new Prime Minister Liz Truss.

Capaldi, 25, who is currently gearing up to launch his comeback single 'Forget Me', couldn't resist responding to his latest hilarious lookalike.

The Someone You Loved singer replied after a fan wrote: "Congratulations @LewisCapaldi on becoming the next Prime minister #LizTruss," alongside an older photo of Truss from her campaigning days in the 1990s.

The West Lothian star penned in response: "Why do I look like so many female politicians," - with his tweet racking up 17k likes.Capaldi is currently gearing up to release his second album three years after his chart-topping debut album Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent.
