Lewis Capaldi has released his brand new single Pointless, and fans have gone absolutely wild for the track. The singer’s debut album, Divinely Inspired to a Hellish Extent, was released three years ago and was given certified triple platinum status as the best-selling album in the UK in 2019 and 2020.

After taking a break from music and live performances during the pandemic to focus on his second album, the Someone You Loved singer is back and better than ever.

Pointless, the brand new track from the West Lothian crooner, was put together by a powerhouse of song-writing talent. The 26-year-old wrote it with Steve Mac, who is responsible for dozens of chart-topping records, Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid, and a little help from Ed Sheeran.Speaking of his latest release, Lewis said: "Incredibly proud of this song, probably my favourite I’ve ever written!
