Les Dennis has complained that Gino D’Acampo’s reboot of Family Fortunes is too long, saying ITV “haven’t served Gino well”.The former host of the classic TV game show shared his thoughts on its new version and admitted that he isn’t a fan of the format change.
Les’ problems with the show included it being too long, the questions being too similar, and the new team not taking it seriously enough.
He told The Sun: “It’s a different show now, it runs an hour, we were only half an hour. I think that it’s quite long at an hour.
I think to keep on it needs to be tighter. “ITV haven’t served Gino well there.” Les, 67, hosted the show for a long run from 1987 to 2002 but when ITV decided to revive Family Fortunes last year, they put TV chef Gino.
