Mariah Carey (born March 27, 1969 or 1970) is an American singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer. Referred to as the "Songbird Supreme" by Guinness World Records, she is noted for her five-octave vocal range, melismatic singing style, and signature use of the whistle register.
She rose to fame in 1990 after signing to Columbia Records and releasing her eponymous debut album, which topped the U.S. Billboard 200 for eleven consecutive weeks. Lenny Kravitz is headed to Las Vegas! The 59-year-old entertainer revealed on Monday (May 20) that he will be bringing his Blue Electric Light Tour to the strip for a limited engagement this fall.
In addition, Lenny also debuted his new song “Paralyzed” from his upcoming album Blue Electric Light, which is out on Friday (May 24). Keep reading to find out more… The upcoming Vegas residency will take place October 18-26th at Dolby Live at Park MGM, which is where Lady Gaga, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars and Jonas Brothers have all had or have residencies. “The Blue Electric Light Tour is coming to the US, only in Las Vegas,” Lenny shared on Instagram.
Tickets go on sale with Citi cardmember pre-sale on Tuesday (May 21), with fan pre-sale the next day and the general on sale this Friday (May 24) at 10am PT.
Prior to Las Vegas, Lenny will perform the Blue Electric Light Tour all over Europe and the UK, from June through August.
