One week on since Lenny Henry officially announced he would no longer be presenting the bi-annual Comic Relief live shows on TV, the comedy heavyweight looked happier than ever as he was spotted filming for his brand new Netflix series in Greater Manchester.
Dressed in a stylish green polo shirt with blue collar and matching flat cap, the 65 year old actor flashed a cheeky smile on the set of Missing You, the latest of Harlan Coben’s novels to be adapted by the streaming service, following the success of his earlier novels including Fool Me Once, The Stranger and Safe.
Filming across Manchester, several crews on the new series have already been spotted hard at work on location, including at iconic spots such as Hardman Street and close to the Bridgewater Hall.
In addition to filming in the city itself, further shooting has also taken place in nearby Bolton too.The new series sees Slow Horses star Rosalind Eleazar take the lead role of police detective Kat Donovan, and follows her life as it begins to unravel when she stumbles across the profile of her ex-fiancé on a dating site more than a decade after he disappeared.
