Motherwell boss Stuart Kettlewell says Lennon Miller could be the best player he has ever worked with, and is delighted to see him nominated for the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year award.The 17-year-old midfielder is up against Rangers winger Ross McCausland, Kilmarnock midfielder David Watson and Dundee midfielder Lyall Cameron for the award, which is nominated by their peers, and will be announced on Sunday.James McFadden was the last Motherwell player to win the gong, back in 2003.Kettlewell says the nomination is great for young players like Miller and Watson, and it won’t faze his star to receive the plaudits that he has.He said: “Lennon is unquestionably one of the, if not the, best talents that I’ve worked with, not just from how you kick a football, but how you behave and everything that you do.“I just think he’s a really exciting talent, but if he was playing at one of the other clubs I would be waxing lyrically about him as well, because I’m just such a big believer, and I do get excited when you start to see really good football players in Scotland.“It’s good for us all, it’s brilliant to market and sell the product and the brand in this country, so from my side of it I’m absolutely delighted that we have one of the top guys at his age, and somebody that I feel can go on and have a really good future in the game.“Whatever level that comes at is obviously down to Lennon and sometimes a wee bit of luck as well.“Sometimes you need some of those breaks, staying fit, all these different types of things.“But he is an absolute pleasure to work with every single day.”Kettlewell added: “I’m delighted for him.
