Leeds United fans left the city centre covered in tons of rubbish after celebrating their promotion with a massive party.The Elland Road side’s status as champions of the second-tier was confirmed on Sunday with a 3-1 win over Derby, with promotion decided on Friday.And fans poured out onto the streets to celebrate the historic weekend, filling Millennium Square with song and dance.But the aftermath of the party has seen Leeds covered in tons of rubbish, with images of the torrid state emerging this morning.Beer cans and broken glass bottles were scattered across the square, while cones had also been picked up in the celebrations only to be left.While the thousands of fans left last night, the bins were left overflowing across the city.
