Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani is set to sell a significant stake in the club, according to reports. Radrizzani, who turned down an approach from Paris Saint-Germain's owners the Qatar Sports Investment last year, paid just £45m to buy the club in 2014.
Now, however, the club’s value is set to skyrocket to £240m with the sale of an extra stake to NFL franchise the San Francisco 49ers.
The 49ers purchased a 10 per-cent stake in the club back in 2018 after Radrizzani convinced them to buy in. And now, their owners are ready to more than double their share of the club and take a 25 per-cent stake with an extra investment, claims the Daily Mail.
