Lee Mead shows off results of £3k Turkey hair transplant after it restores his confidence
ok.co.ukFollowing the announcement that he will be starring as Khashoggi in the musical We Will Rock You, actor Lee Mead appeared on Good Morning Britain, where he revealed the results of his recent hair transplant.
The actor, 41, left fans shocked recently when he appeared on This Morning earlier this month, having shaved off his famous curly locks prior to undergoing the transplant.
Appearing on today's GMB (February 28) Lee opened up about his transplant to hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls. Asked why he opted to travel to Turkey, the former Holby City star replied: "I highly recommend anyone to research it properly first, and there are places in the UK and America that do an amazing job but to be frank it's three times cheaper in Turkey." Lee then revealed that it cost £3.5 in Turkey, and that was for 2,600 grafts, leaving him with "essentially 10,000 new hairs" on his head.
Reflecting on the confidence boost he's had since getting the transplant, he continued: "Personally, it's made me feel confident.
