A 3-2 home defeat to St Mirren on the opening day of the season came on the back of Euro embarrassment in Andorra, where Hibs lost 2-1 to Inter Club d'Escaldes.
They turned it around comfortably in the home leg with a 6-1 victory over the minnows, but it remained a blot on Johnson's copy book.He looked to have banked some credit after an impressive 3-1 win over Luzern at Easter Road.
