metro.co.ukLeBron James has only gone and confirmed the full title of the long-awaited Space Jam sequel. The basketball legend revealed the animation is called Space Jam: A New Legacy (rolls off the tongue, that does).
Aaand it’s still set for a 2021 release date, despite much of the Hollywood calendar being thrown into chaos by the coronavirus pandemic.
The LA Lakers star shared the update on Instagram, posting a short video of him wearing a cap bearing the film’s title. ‘2021,’ our man wrote simply in the caption.
A New Legacy is a sequel to 1996 classic Space Jam, which starred basketball great Michael Jordan as well as a host of other NBA stars.
