Rock legend has announced that they are living as a man again after coming out as a trans woman 13 years ago. Mina Caputo, 50, the lead singer of Life of Agony, has made a personal revelation that they are "de-transitioning" back to male and reclaimming their birth name, Keith.

In a message to fans, the singer claimed that their "gender dysphoria has been cured". Giving them an update on social media, the musician said: "Surgery has been booked to remove my fake breasts, and I will be lovingly living in my divine male self.

I've cured my gender dysphoria. It took many years. A lot of walking through the fire, but I rose above my misunderstandings of my soul and my spirit." De-transitioning is the process of halting or reversing a gender transition, which may involve medical procedures or changes in outward appearance, or both.

Having identified as Mina since 2008 and coming out as transgender in 2011, Caputo felt compelled to address the public after noticing certain comments on their posts.
