Shortly after the black-and-white, behind-the-scenes footage, Michele returned home to her nearly 2-year-old son, Ever, whom she shares with her husband Zandy Reich.“Home from work and back to mom duty,” she captioned a photo of Ever playing in a kiddie pool in New York City.
Come Sept. 6, Michele will fulfill her longtime dream of starring as Barbra Streisand’s original character in “Funny Girl.” Her role comes as the former Fanny, Beanie Feldstein, exited the show early after a rough go-around.“Once the production decided to take the show in a different direction, I made the extremely difficult decision to step away sooner than anticipated,” Feldstein, 29, wrote in a controversial Twitter post that “Funny Girl” producers may or may not have known was coming.
