LCD Soundsystem have performed ‘North American Scum’ live for the first time in 13 years – watch the performance below.Last night (December 15), the James Murphy-led band have wrapped their December run of ‘Winter Function’ shows in New York.

For the last three shows of the ‘Winter Function’ run, Murphy and co. performed ‘North American Scum’ off their 2007 album ‘Sound Of Silver’, marking the first time it’s been played in over a decade.During their December 12 gig at the Knockdown Center in Queens, LCD Soundsystem surprised fans by performing the long-dormant fan favourite.

Alongside the release of ‘X-Ray Eyes’, Murphy shared an update on the upcoming record, saying: “Don’t ask me when that is, because we are still working on it.
