Alice In Chains‘ late Layne Staley are set to be published as a new book titled This Angry Pen: The Lost Journals of Layne Staley.

The 176-page book is being released by Weldon Owen Publishing and will be distributed by Simon & Schuster. According to a description shared on the Simon & Schuster website, This Angry Pen: The Lost Journals of Layne Staley will feature “handwritten lyrics, deeply personal poetry, stunning original artwork, rare photos, fan tributes, and so much more.” The book is set for release on November 11 and is available for pre-order here.A synopsis of the book read: “For the first time, this stunning collection unveils the deeply personal and creative side of the legendary Alice in Chains frontman.
