Lauren Laverne has delightedly shared a health and career update with her followers.The talented 46-year-old radio DJ took to Instagram to announce that after receiving a cancer diagnosis during a screening test, she’s now received the all-clear.

In August, she disclosed her diagnosis but reassured fans that it was caught "early and unexpectedly during a screening test".Three months later, Lauren excitedly revealed her plans to return to work on Tuesday, 26 November, on The One Show.

Not stopping there, the TV and radio personality also teased fans about some fresh Desert Island Discs episodes that are soon to drop on Radio 4, adding that music enthusiasts can anticipate her comeback on Radio 6 Music come the New Year.

Accompanying her happy announcement, Lauren uploaded a selfie wearing a "Life is beautiful" jumper alongside heartfelt well-wishes cards. "Well, hello there!
