Laura Whitmore appeared to have taken a swipe at Love Island while hinting at the real reason why she exited the show.The Irish TV presenter, 37, surprised viewers when she announced that she was stepping down after taking on the role when then-host Caroline Flack stepped down in late 2019.
Following Caroline's shock death, Laura remained host of the programme and its spin-off show After Sun until standing down last month.
And it seems she has now revealed her true reasons for leaving her presenting role on the dating series. She said: "Love Island is a show that I love to watch, and I always want to work on shows that I enjoy.
But there’s nothing more that I can do with it.There are parameters." Speaking to the Evening Standard, Laura continued: "When you work on the show, you can’t really talk about certain things.
