Girl vs Cancer was started by BBC podcast host Laura Mahon after she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer back in 2016.
She wanted to create a safe space to talk about cancer and honest personal experiences after being fed up with the perception that the disease was for the over fifties.
Within a week she realised she wanted to create "t*t tees" to raise awareness of the importance of checking yourself. Since then, the platform has become one of the biggest female cancer communities along with its 45,000 Instagram followers and viral clothing ranges to help raise money and awareness.
