Manchester United have suffered two fresh injury concerns after the victory over Southampton in the Premier League. Matthijs de Ligt, Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho were all on the scoresheet at St Mary's Stadium as the Reds eased to victory against the Saints.

However, it was not the perfect afternoon for United, with injury issues popping their ugly heads up once again. Lisandro Martinez and Noussair Mazraoui were both seen limping off the pitch during the win at Southampton and Erik ten Hag confirmed at this stage it was too soon to diagnose the extent of their problems.

There was good news for De Ligt, though, who left the field after suffering cramp and should be fine. "We need everyone and hopefully players are returning," he explained. "It will not be the case for the next game, but hopefully in the next weeks they [Hojlund, Mount and Shaw] will return to the squad." Victor Lindelof was expected to be back training in the United squad this month after suffering a toe injury but at the moment there is no sign of his return. Tyrell Malacia missed the entirety of last season through injury but was named in United's Europa League squad last week.

Ten Hag has confirmed he could return to training soon and in the not-too-distant future be available to feature for the Reds. Leny Yoro remains the only long-term injury concern for United, with his return expected closer towards the end of the season after his issue during pre-season.
