Today's update of the rolling seven-day rate of new cases of Covid-19 in each area across the country shows which areas are seeing a rise infections - and which ones are seeing a drop.The majority of places have seen a fall in cases - with 171 out of 315 local authorities in England reporting a drop in infection rates.Two areas remain unchanged, while 142 areas have seen a rise in case rates.Greater Manchester is still seeing a steady decline in the number of new infections in all but one borough.Bury has the highest infection rate, which has risen from 215.7 to 225.7 in a week.Eight Greater Manchester boroughs are reporting.
