Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.
The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.
Late-night is coming back and the guest lists are starting to be filled. The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will return on Monday with guests including Matthew McConaughey and pop star John Mayer.
Fallon said that SAG-AFTRA member McConaughey will be promoting his new book Just Because, a children’s tome. Mayer recently took part in Eric Clapton’s Crossroads Festival, where the sometimes Dead & Company star played a cover of Grateful Dead’s “They Love Each Other.” RELATED: ‘Real Time With Bill Maher’ Sets Return With Writers Elsewhere on NBC, Seth Meyers is taking over his entire Late Night show with A Closer Look.
The political segment, which is usually 15-20 minutes will run for the entire show, which Sal Gentile, who writes the segment joked that afterwards he will be “euthanized”.
There’s plenty to cover given that the late-night hosts have been off for around five months and missed plenty of political news including more Donald Trump indictments.
