Larry Lamb, who stars as Mick Shipman in the beloved BBC sitcom Gavin and Stacey, has hinted that the upcoming Christmas special might not be the end of the show.The much-loved series is set to return on Christmas Day this year, for what's been billed as its final episode.
However, Larry believes that show creators James Corden and Ruth Jones may struggle to say goodbye to the popular programme, comparing them to veteran rockers who can't stop touring. "It's like those old rock 'n rollers who go round the world on their 'last tour'.
What are you going to do, kill it? What's the point? They're too canny, those two. We could be rocking this thing out when I'm about 104," he said.
Despite his speculation about a possible future comeback, Larry shared on Good Morning Britain how emotional it was to film the last episode. "It was a trip down memory lane.
