Lanarkshire sex offender jailed for violent rapes of two teenagers

A serial Lanarkshire sex offender who preyed on underage girls was jailed for seven years after carrying out violent rapes of two teenagers.

Ross Murray carried out sexual assaults on three children, including one who was aged only 12 at the time.Murray, 23, formerly of Myrtle Lane, Larkhall, had denied a series of charges during an earlier trial but was convicted of committing a sexual assault, two rapes and an assault with intent to rape in South Lanarkshire between April 2019 and August 2020.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
