Lanarkshire schoolchildren get money wise with new sessions from Nationwide

Pupils at a Hamilton primary school have been learning the basics of finance as part of Nationwide Building Society's 'Money Lessons' programme.The session, delivered to primary five to seven pupils at Woodside Primary School, forms part of a programme designed to give youngsters the chance to brush up on their understanding of all things money - from savings and staying safe online, to credit and budgeting.Feedback from previous sessions show that 98 per cent of students said they gained confidence in their relationship and understanding of money.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

We are really pleased to have been able to bring in external experts to help bring money and finances to life and it will no doubt help the children access learning in a new and interesting way”.
