A Lanarkshire restaurant has announced its closure. American diner-style eatery Monterey Jack’s which has multiple restaurants across Scotland, announced on Wednesday evening that they had closed their Hamilton restaurant.

It comes just eight weeks after they shut their restaurant in Glasgow’s Merchant Square.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

We have other locations nearby including East Kilbride and our latest Bar & Restaurant at M&D’s, Scotland’s theme park!“We hope to welcome you very soon!”The new M&D’s restaurant is the company’s largest of their 10 in Scotland, catering for 250 people, and has created 30 full- and part-time jobs.Created in the theme park’s former family restaurant space, it spans two floors and 4000 square feet.Monterey Jack’s chief operating officer Scott Abercrombie said: “We have designed a totally new bar and restaurant with multiple dining zones, almost from a shell, in collaboration with the M&D’s team.“[It has] an amazing new glass frontage to enjoy the vista and outdoor terrace, and very special theme details to ensure that every customer is totally immersed in the experience.”
