Lanarkshire pupils mark youth work week

Secondary school pupils from Lanarkshire shared their achievements in skills and employability as they helped mark the recent youth work week.

Teenagers at the @home centre in Airdrie met local councillor Chris Costello, who is North Lanarkshire’s champion for children and young people, to talk about their work on youth accreditation and awards.

Meanwhile, education convener Angela Campbell visited Bellshill Academy to meet the youth work team and young volunteers who provide activities for younger pupils during and after the school day.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
