Lanarkshire pub again offers lonely folk chance to enjoy complimentary Christmas dinner

Big-hearted staff at an East Kilbride pub are appealing for more people to take up their offer of a free Christmas dinner.The Kittoch in Stewartfield is hoping to spread some festive cheer by offering up a table of 10 to lonely local residents who would otherwise be spending the festivities on their own.Two spots have already been filled - one by an East Kilbride resident who has sadly spent the last seven Christmases home alone - but there are still eight up for grabs.The Hungry Horse pub is offering each person a complimentary drink on arrival and a four-course Christmas dinner with all the trimmings on December 25.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
