A Coatbridge musician is returning to the stage following the impact of the pandemic in what will be his only live gig of 2022.Pete MacLeod won't have far to travel when he performs in his new home of Greenock in September in a show that is "years in the making".
Singer-songwriter Pete had been due to go on tour before the pandemic struck in 2020 and just days before the first lockdown, he was sitting on top of the UK Physical Singles Chart with his self-released track Firing Line .

Pete told Lanarkshire Live : “I am looking forward to playing my songs live again. Before lockdown, and the single going to number one, the plan was to go out on tour, but obviously that was put on hold. “Then we had to cancel the Greenock gig, which was actually in a smaller venue.
