Lanarkshire MSP meets with ScotRail staff to hear more about station redevelopment

Graham Simpson MSP met with the staff from ScotRail and Balfour Beatty who are redeveloping Motherwell Station and heard first-hand about the project’s progress to date.Representing a £15.4m agreement between North Lanarkshire Council, ScotRail, Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) and Transport Scotland the new station is part of work to create a more comfortable and efficient gateway to the Glasgow City Region.It is due to be completed by March 2023.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
