Lanarkshire motorists warned of disruption on M8 due to fence replacement

Lanarkshire motorists are being warned of potential delays as workers replace a boundary fence on the M8 near Harthill. Trunk road operating company BEAR Scotland is to replace over 2,100 metres of boundary fence on the westbound M8 costing Transport Scotland £170,000.Vegetation clearance and fencing replacement work will begin on Monday, January 30, and is expected to continue for eight weeks.
