A Lanarkshire soup kitchen volunteer has thanked locals as they managed to raise roughly £12,000 for a new van that will feed vulnerable people.Co-founded by Kirsty Steele, All2gethernow is a volunteer-run group which provides hot meals, drinks, food and clothing to those in need in Glasgow every Monday from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.They were serving all of this from an 11-year-old Citroen van, and due to the implementation of the new Glasgow Low Emission Zone the van wouldn’t be able to enter the city centre without facing a fine.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

We are picking it up from them tomorrow, and I honestly cannot wait. I am so excited.“It was massive what the exposure from the article did for us because that’s us not needing to worry anymore.
