Lanarkshire group make a tree-mendous mark with planting ceremony

A Lanarkshire group who help good causes marked a tree-mendous achievement recently. The Inner Wheel Club of Cambuslang planted a weeping flowering cherry tree in the grounds of Cambuslang Parish Church to commemorate the Club's 50th anniversary.

The group meet on the third Monday of every month, from the months of September to June, and try to help as many good causes as they can.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
