Lanarkshire drivers contend with long delays after lorry breaks down

Drivers in one part of Lanarkshire experienced huge delays this morning thanks to a broken down lorry.Those travelling on the A71 near Stonehouse, near to the Canderside Toll junction of the M74, were made to wait for over an hour to get through a part of the road which should take less than five minutes.One commuter wrote on social media: “Took me over an hour to get out of Stonehouse!”The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
