Lanarkshire club welcomes local guests for its 66th Burns Supper celebration

Guests from across Lanarkshire paid tribute to the Bard with a special celebration event.Allanton Jolly Beggars Burns Club held its 66th Burns Supper in Cambusnethan Social Club and invited along their honorary piper, Amy McIntyre, to provide marvellous music.Halfway through proceedings, Amy, of Plains, and her brother Robbie, a drummer, appeared and with military precision and perfect co-ordination of pipe playing and the tenor drums, treated guests to a "high quality performance".The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
