The Scottish SPCA is seeking a homes for a horde of adorable hamsters in the care of its Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.Scotland’s animal welfare charity is also caring for a further eight hamsters who are not quite ready to be rehomed.
SSPCA Centre manager, Gillian Boyle, told Lanarkshire Live : “We currently have seven sweet young hamsters looking for their forever homes.

They could be rehomed to a home with children of around five and above, with adult supervision.“They would require a spacious home with plenty of enrichment to keep them happy and healthy.“We are also caring for another hamster who has recently given birth to a further seven babies!“They are just one week old, so aren’t ready to leave us just yet but we would welcome notes of interest for them.“All of these hamsters would make a great addition to most households, and would be the perfect first pet for a young animal lover.“We are also in need of hamster cages to house all of our little residents, and would be so grateful for any
