The Born to Die singer made an appearance at Barnes and Noble in California, Los Angeles on Saturday, October 3, where she performed a few excerpts from her new poetry book Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass.

While there, she wore a glittery, fishnet style face covering that she had previously used during a cover shoot for Interview magazine.After posting a video of herself getting ready for the event on Instagram, Del Rey's followers took to the comments section to slam her choice of personal protection.
