Lana Del Rey and Quavo have released a snippet of their upcoming collaboration, ‘Tough’ – listen to it below.Today (June 20), the Migos rapper took to Instagram to share a snippet of the track along with a photo of the two musicians pointing finger guns outside of an undisclosed farm.In the snippet, the two sing: “Tough like the scarf on a pair of old leather boots / Like the blue-collar, red-dirt attitude / Like a .38 made out of brass / Tough like the stuff in my grandpa’s glass / Life’s gonna do what it does/ Sure as the good lord’s up above / Cut like a diamond shining in the rough, tough.”Listen to the snippet below.A post shared by QuavoHuncho (@quavohuncho)A release date for ‘Tough’ has yet to be announced.

Quavo first began teasing the track in early May, sharing a picture of himself and Lana Del Rey on Instagram. That teaser also included a snippet, though that was only of the song’s instrumental and the rapper’s adlibs.A post shared by QuavoHuncho (@quavohuncho)It is currently unclear if ‘Tough’ will feature on Lana’s upcoming album ‘Lasso’, or if it will part of a larger Quavo project.Earlier this year, Lana Del Rey announced a new country album, ‘Lasso’.

While the album has yet to receive a release date, the singer spoke to NME‘s Andrew Trendell in May. Though she didn’t reveal much about the album, Lana suggested that the album’s lyrics might be lighter than her more recent output.“I’ve maybe less to say in terms of any self-revealing things like on ‘Tunnel’ or ‘Blue Bannisters’ or ‘Chemtrails Over The Country Club’, and just more melodic.

Maybe more American Songbook style?”Lana Del Rey is due to headline Reading & Leeds 2024 over the upcoming August bank holiday (23-25).
