Lady Gaga is opening up about her accent in House of Gucci. After being criticized by some fans for her Italian accent, and a dialect coach that worked on the film, the 35-year-old actress spoke to Stephen Colbert on The Late Show about the accent she chose to play Patrizia Reggiani. “There’s a sort of idea around method acting that it’s crazy and that we’re crazy,” she started, touching on the subject of method acting. “But I think that for those of us who commit ourselves to method acting there’s something about us that is just fully committing ourselves to the art on a cellular level.” Gaga added, “That we’re deeply entrenched in this immersive experience.
