Lady Gaga claims third Number 1 on the Official Irish Albums Chart with Chromatica

Lady Gaga’s new album Chromatica debuts at Number 1 on this week’s Official Irish Albums Chart. The US megastar’s sixth collection is her third chart topper in Ireland as a credited artist following The Fame/The Fame Monster (2009) and Born This Way (2011).

Gaga was also part of A Star Is Born’s chart-topping Motion Picture Cast Recording (2018). In the process, Chromatica has scored 2020’s biggest week of album downloads and outsold the rest of the Top 5 combined.

Last week’s Number 1 Dissimulation from KSI drops two places to Number 3, while Norwegian DJ Kygo earns his second Top 10 album with Golden Hour at 7.
