It’s a very big day for Lady Gaga! On Saturday (August 19), the 37-year-old entertainer celebrated the 15th anniversary of her debut album, The Fame, which she first released back in 2008. Keep reading to find out more… “Thank you for 15 years ⚡️❤️ #thefame,” Gaga wrote on Instagram along with a compilation video of throwback footage from when she first arrived in the music scene while promoting the album and performing hit songs off of it.
The Fame featured hit songs including “Just Dance,” “Poker Face,” and “Paparazzi.” The album was nominated for five Grammy awards, including Album of the Year.
It won Best Electronic/Dance Album and Best Dance Recording for “Poker Face.” It has also been certified six-times Platinum.
After receiving rave reviews, Gaga reissued the deluxe album with The Fame Monster in 2009. Gaga was just recently spotted on a very rare outing with her boyfriend Michael Polansky!
