New mum Lacey Turner has revealed she didn't have time to pack the essentials in her hospital bag before suddenly giving birth to her son in February.

The EastEnders star, 32, was expecting to go straight back home that same night when she made a trip to the hospital, but her son Trilby was born unexpectedly at four-weeks premature.

The actress, who plays Stacey Slater on the BBC soap, added how she also went back to bed after her waters broke, as she was so tired. "I got into bed and pretended it wasn't happening and then I thought, 'I can't do this,' Lacey told Loose Women. "I phoned them up and they said, 'You better come in'."
