Kym Marsh supported as she says 'life changed forever' in heartbreaking update

Kym Marsh has been flooded with love and support as she marked a year since her 'life changed forever'. The actress was marking 12 months since she had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to her father, David.

Kym lost her dad, known as Dave, when he died in January 2024 at the age of 78 after being diagnosed with prostate cancer. He publicly shared his prostate cancer diagnosis in 2021.

He appeared on BBC's Morning Live with Kym and his wife Pauline after he wanted to make others aware of the symptoms and to seek medical help.

In November 2023, Kym's parents appeared on the BBC One programme to provide an update with Kym saying they were living "day by day" as her father’s cancer had spread into his bones before it was announced on January 12, 2024, that Dave had sadly died.
