Kym Marsh 'splits from husband Scott Ratcliff' 18 months after tying the knot
ok.co.ukKym Marsh has reportedly called time on her marriage to Scott Ratcliff after 18 months of marriage. Kym tied the knot to Army Major Scott Ratcliff in October 2021 in a stunning ceremony at Sandhurst.
But, just months on from Kym’s Strictly Come Dancing stint – where she was teamed up with Graziano Di Prima – she and Scott, 34, have ended things.Their busy schedules are said to be the reason behind their split as the pair were only seeing each other twice a week.
While starring on Strictly, Kym, 46, had rehearsals throughout the week followed by live shows at the weekend. Elsewhere, Scott is largely based in barracks down south while Kym resides in Cheshire – making things “impossible” for them.
A source alleges that the pair had a trial separation earlier this year in the hopes of fixing their marriage, but it didn’t work. “They both really tried to make it work, but the cracks have been there for a while and they were only getting to see each other for one or two days a week at the very most,” they told The Sun. “Kym’s been so busy, and last year Strictly meant even her weekends were stacked up along with weekdays rehearsing.” The source added: “It’s very sad for all involved, but they’ve decided it’s time to tell their family and friends and focus on the future — which means filing for divorce.They’re hoping to keep things as amicable as possible.
