The boyfriend of Kym Marsh has sent a huge message of love and support to the actress following her victory in an emotional battle.
Kym has been campaigning the government to recognise early losses in pregnancy with a certificate.The actress lost her baby boy Archie in 2009, who was tragically born 18 weeks prematurely.
On BBC Breakfast on Wednesday, 9 October, 48-year-old Kym spoke emotionally of the decision by the government to extend the certificates, which means parents will now have their child's life officially recognised no matter how far back the loss occurred.
Her appearance led her boyfriend, Samuel Thomas – who is 19 years Kym’s junior – to post his emotional message. “So proud of this amazing woman this morning,” he posted alongside a picture of Kym being interviewed on the breakfast show. “Speaking on @bbcbreakfast about the importance of ‘baby loss’ certificates and being part of the campaign to make these certificates a possibility.” He then signed off declaring: “I love you and the amazing thing you’ve helped to achieve,” followed by a heart emoji.
