1 on the Spotify charts, dethroning “The Joe Rogan Experience.” The two podcasts continue to trade between first and second place on Spotify, while Kelce remains in the top spot on the Apple podcasts charts.
On her Jan. 2. episode (via The Daily Beast), the podcaster and wife of former Eagles center Jason Kelce told off the online haters who have gotten more vocal ever since she launched to bigger-than-Rogan numbers.
Kelce noted that one of the top searches on social media platforms following her podcast success has been “who the fuck is Kylie Kelce?” She said it “blows her mind” that online trolls don’t realize they’re amplifying her content by asking social media algorithms who she is and by mentioning her name in toxic comments. “I can’t get over the fact that you actually typed this into Twitter, when you could have typed it into Google,” she said. “And also you typed my name, so now you know what you’re gonna get: More Kylie Kelce content.” “I had talked to my producers about like, ‘Do we do like a segment on algorithms and explain to people that if you engage with the content and if you write my name and shit, you’re just gonna keep getting me on your timeline?’” Kelce added.
