Kyle Magennis faces another injury sweat after the Kilmarnock midfielder limped off during Saturday’s 1-1 draw with St Mirren.
The 25-year-old broke down with a hamstring injury moments after scoring an own goal against the Buddies at Rugby Park. Magennis’ career has been blighted by injuries but he has played in every game so far this season.
The midfielder will be assessed this week but has already been ruled out of this weekend’s trip to reigning champions Celtic with Killie hoping for positive news.
Boss Derek McInnes said: “He took a sore one which is a real shame for the boy because he has been arguably my best player of the season.“He’s been terrific and not missed a training session.
