Kyle Dempsey has already told Bolton Wanderers what he can offer in Gillingham transfer chase

Wanderers have submitted a second bid for the player after the first one was rejected out of hand and Bolton are waiting to hear back from the Kent club on the matter. READ MORE:Fresh League One predictions made for Bolton Wanderers, Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth Dempsey has been at Gillingham since 2020 but his contract at Priestfield runs out this summer as things stand and would be available to leave for nothing around five months from now if he does not put pen to paper on a new deal.
The midfielder would fill another space in that department for Wanderers, after gaps emerged in that area of the squad following the departure of former captain Antoni Sarcevic and the injury which ended Josh Sheehan's campaign prematurely.
Dempsey has played more than 60 times for the Gills and scored nine goals and arrived at Gillingham following a career which has seen him have spells at Carlisle United, Huddersfield Town, Peterborough United and Fleetwood Town.
